Salon Policies

Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates make a great gift and are available for all services.  Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. In the event of a price increase, previous prices will be honored for 1 year from date of purchase. 

Cancellations: In fairness to our clients & staff, we require a 24 hour notice for cancellations. While we understand that things come up, please keep in mind that "no shows" or last minute cancellations leave our staff with empty appointment times as well as preventing other clients from getting in. Our stylists income is greatly impacted when they are unable to fill a block of time due to a no show. Credit card guarantee or deposit may be required. In the event of a no show olate cancel, the credit card will be charged 50% of the service total. Each of our guests is very important to us, we appreciate your business and thank you for your understanding.  


Appointment Reminders:   As a courtesy to our guests, we offer appointment reminders through email and by phone. The salon will not be responsible for missed appointments due to emails or messages not received. While we make every attempt to provide the courtesy calls and emails, it is still the clients responsibility to to know when your appointment is.  

Service & Retail Refund Policy:  Hair and skin products may be returned within a week of purchase for a retail credit. We ask that no more than 25% of the product be used. Nail polish is non refundable. If you are unhappy with your service, please contact the salon within a week of your appointment. Services will be fixed free of charge within that week. Services will not be refunded for cash. 

Spa services: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows time for you to change clothes & a few moments to relax before your service. All spa services & packages require a credit card guarantee. In the event of a no show or late cancel, 50% of your services charges will be applied to your card. 

Referral Program: Earn free services, such as manicures, paraffin treatments, pedicures, facials or massage for referring new clients to our salon!  Ask us for more information!


Payments : Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checkgift certificates,Visa & Master Card

Late Policy: If arrival is delayed, we will do our best to accommodate your full appointment. Unfortunately, we are not always able to do this and may have to shorten your service time to prevent delays for other guests. Full payment for the originally scheduled service will be charged.

Cell Phone Policy: To help us to better stay on schedule and to ensure we have the full appointment time to provide you with your service, we ask that you not take phone calls while receiving your service. We also ask that you please have your phones on vibrate or silent. Take a few minutes for you, you deserve it!

Children: We welcome all children to Vivo and enjoy providing hair cutting services as well as our kids spa services! To ensure the safety of your children, we do ask that children not be left unattended as Vivo is kid friendly, but not kid proof.
